I also start most of my reports from the Invitee and Registrant Details report, filter to the information I need, and save variations of the report with the information I need. I usually keep a saved report of the full information available with that report, and multiple reports that are just one or two registration questions that I can easily run and send off to those who need the info (like a report for just food restrictions that attendees provide during registration, which can go to the event manager or catering manager).
For larger events that I am going to pull attendee data from in order to present to my executive staff, I use some of the following. This is the list that I keep for myself, and then reference back to see which reports are helpful depending on the type of event I'm reporting for.
