Why can't we have 'saved reports' that cross all of our events? It is a pain having to recreate the same report for each and every event. I'd like the same information, in the same order, in the same medium (Excel) for every event. Which also reminds me - creating Excel lists that require drop down menus actually creates more reformatting work to eliminate them; therefore, I end up having to save the reports in CSV, which requires me having to resave in Excel.

No advice, but here to agree with you! I also wish custom reports would come back. It's very annoying having to use two saved reports and hand merge them together in excel.

One workaround is to create a cross event report and then to filter down to whichever event you choose. It's not ideal, and I wish saved reports would come back!!!

There's a solution for that :)  

• Cross Event reports - Click the  icon in the top-right, then select Events from the dropdown. At the top of the page, hover over the More menu and click Cross Event Reports.

If I am understanding your ask correctly, I think there are a couple of options that you have - like Beth and Monica mentioned, you can go into Cross Event Reporting, take one of the templates and then Save it for use over and over.  Here's an article that walks you through that process:

Another alternative if you use Event Templates is to create the report as part of your template.  Every time you copy over that template, it will also copy over that report.  As an example, if you like to have your registration reports look the same each time, save the report in your template and will be in your Saved Reports for each new event.  You may need to update the report to include any different registration questions for each new event, but that can be done in a couple of minutes and saves a ton of time.

I am totally with you! I think that would be awesome; I miss Saved Reports the way they used to be.  I know you can create cross-event reports, but it's not quite the same. This feels like it should be a standard feature, rather than requiring a workaround.

We use a template with the saved reports we want to use - they will pull in the data for the event those reports are in; you just have to re-name them.
