  • 1.  Seating Assignments with same table/seat

    The way we assign seats for our events is we have sections of tables made up of several rows in each. There will be 12 or so individuals that are in Section A, Row 1. Is there a way to import a list that allows duplicates seat assignments? We do not assign an individual seat at a table, because once they are at the event they have placards on their seat showing what company sits where.  The image attached is an example. The number 221 represents a company, and they have two individuals attending. Both of their badges will show their seating assignment as B1 for section B row 1. The company 164 has three individuals attending and their badges will also show B1 for section B, row 1...etc.  Any ideas that would make utilizing the seating function of cvent work for us? It is very manual at this point.

    Hi Sydney, 

    I have been able to import with no problems. My problem is that it will not assign seats since they are duplicated. Same table/seat for multiple badges.

    Hi Jennifer,

    Understood! In this case, you can use internal information to create fields for table and seats and import the information. The internal information fields can then be added to the badge.
