  • 1.  Session Description HTML Workaround?

    Posted 21 days ago

    Hello all,

I know that HTML is not currently available in session descriptions, but I'm looking for any creative workarounds for something that you all may have used in the past.

I have an upcoming event that is taking place in 3 different buildings simultaneously.  The conference center is the main location for the majority of our activities, but I am also offering sessions in my company's two manufacturing facilities 15 and 30 minutes down the road from the conference center.  We are providing transportation between the conference center and our manufacturing facilities, but I foresee confusion for our attendees that I'd like to mitigate as much as possible.  Each session will have a location with the building name in it, but we all know how well attendees read those kinds of things in advance.

My first thought was to put a small bus icon or something similar at the beginning of each description of a session that requires bussing to catch their eye and then include a note that the session takes place in a different building and that they will need to plan for travel time before the session.  I know that's not possible without HTML input.  I'm worried that a note in the description will get lost, and that I'll have attendees miss the bus to the other location and miss out on a session they wanted to attend.

Does anyone have any creative ideas of how to clearly communication this information to attendees?  We will of course be mentioning that sessions will be in three different locations in our marketing and in emails leading up to the event, but I'm hoping for something super clear in each attendees' agenda as well.

    Thanks for your thoughts!

    Hi Jess,

You can create a custom data tag with a content block type and insert it into session descriptions to highlight important details. This will help standardize the messaging and ensure it stands out for attendees. Let me know if you need any assistance setting it up!
