Hello!  I love this platform but when you only use it once a year, it can be hard to update and remember things.  I have 2 Registration Paths I am using.  When I created my session list, each session I have I associated them to the correct paths but when I test one of them it has the other path sessions on it... What am I missing?  Please help, Thanks Kelly

    Hi Kelly!

Where are they showing incorrectly? On the agenda page of your website? Are you using the new agenda widget? If so, it doesn't recognize the registration type unless you send them to the registration form first (known issue, which is why I'm still using the old Agenda widget). You can test this by clicking into the registration form first and then back to the agenda page. If it now shows correctly, it's the issue with the Agenda widget not recognizing reg types.

If your issue is during registration, here are a few things to check:

    • Make sure all of the sessions are optional.
    • If your invitation lists are assigning the registration types, check your list set ups and make sure the list to assigning the correct registration type.
    • Check the set up for each registration path (gear icon next to the name of the path) and make sure each path has the correct settings and reg type assigned to it.
    • Check your admission items. I use a separate Admission Item for each reg path. On the Advanced Settings tab of the Admission Item is where you can tell the system which optional session should be included with that admission item and which ones they should be able to select from during registration.

Let me know if that doesn't fix your issue.

    Hi Kelly!

If sessions are at different times but are there for people to sign up for, make sure they are included. If the sessions are at the same time and people can choose, put optional instead. This will help the system not confuse the two!

It might be that your sessions aren't set to optional, I've run into that issue before. If you're sure you have the registration type set correctly for teh path, and they're marked optional, then I'm not sure what the issue is.
