    Hello everyone, does anyone have the step by step to create the registration process? Do you know if new fields can be added?

    You can add as many questions as you need to your registration.  For our registrations we use many custom contact fields that are used across the organization. If you plan on doing cross event reporting using custom or standard fields is very important so you can pull all the data to report on.

    Registration building starts on the back end with your registration types, once those are completed you can go to the builder and build your registration paths and customize your questions in the same way you do your website with the flex builder.  The community has a lot of articles on building custom fields and registration.  

    If you want fields to be standard across your account create custom fields for anything not existing in standard. If your registration questions will vary event by event you can create questions to capture the inforamation.

    Additionally, you can go to https://community.cvent.com/training and click on 'Browse Course Catalog'  > Select 'Event management' option at the bottom > Login using your Cvent account ID and password > and enroll for registration related trainings.

    Also, you can add new fields in the event even after the event is launched. however, if there are registrations in the event, you will have to inform the registrants to login to their registration and fill in the new fields.

    Tagging on to answers below, if you are asking if questions can be added after the registration opens - yes you can. Obviously you won't have any of that data from anyone that registers prior to adding the question. Cvent training has great tools to walk you through setting up your registration page. Good luck!
