Following up on the question about LinkedIn sharing after registration, I wanted to clarify what is and isn't possible within Cvent and LinkedIn's current capabilities.
Attendees can absolutely be prompted to share the event on LinkedIn after they register. We can include a Share bar on the confirmation page or in the confirmation email. This allows us to pre-populate suggested text, event Image, and a link to the event page.
However, automatically embedding or incorporating the attendee's LinkedIn profile picture into the shared post is not supported. LinkedIn does not allow external platforms to access or insert a user's profile photo into shared content unless the user goes through a separate LinkedIn OAuth authentication flow. Even then, automated posting and personalization are heavily restricted by LinkedIn's API policies.
If deeper personalization (such as pulling profile photos) is required, it would involve a custom integration with LinkedIn's API and user authorization, which goes beyond standard Cvent functionality.
