JOB TITLE – Meeting & Events Logistics Manager

EVENT DESCRIPTION – 3-day in-person event for medical professionals

    EVENT DATES – November 19-21, 2021

PHASE OF EVENT PLANNING: Event Complete

TYPE OF EVENT – educational conference

WHAT WORKED FOR YOU (DO'S - write at least 2) –

    1. Multi-level admission – providing access to educational content based on the learner's current level of practice. Tiered pricing allowed accessibility for a larger audience base
    2. Virtual access – providing streamed content to those that could not attend in person. Allowed them to still attend while providing a basis for future in person attendance from their own ROI.

WHAT TO AVOID (DON'TS - write at least 2) –

    1. Out of date materials – there are always last-minute changes to program agendas. Make sure the information being shared is as current as possible. This avoids confusion on the event days from attendees.
    2. Lack of networking opportunity – build in time for attendees to mingle; especially with exhibitors. Placing f&b breaks in the exhibit hall helps facilitate this networking.

Is the current level of practice a form of personalized learning? Do you already know this information about your audience or does the audience self-identify? Those are two great DO'S!! Thank you for sharing, @Sara Garcia.
