Our organization seems to use Cvent a little differently than most, but I can't imagine we are the only ones so I'm hoping to find some like-minded users to troubleshoot, brainstorm and just generally chat with about what works in different areas.
We handle conference/event registration through our AMS, primarily so all financial transactions are simplified and in one place. We have an integration set up to pull registration info from that to Cvent and then we do everything else in the Event App, abstract collection, attendee hub, speakers and agendas. This year we also incorporated OnArrival for badge printing and it was great, a huge upgrade to our previous method of printing badges in advance.
All that being positive, there are definitely some challenges we have in the integration (which is constantly evolving) and some of the general usage and reporting. The annoyance of multiple profiles for someone who is a speaker, moderator and attendee is maybe one of my most frustrating. Although, I don't think that is completely because we use the program differently.
So anyways... Does anyone else not handle registration in Cvent but use the other Event products? I'd love to connect!
