Our tips for picking your 2026 event line-up:
- Start with your "why," not the shiny logos.
- Look for evidence of learning, not promises of vibes. Marketing copy always slaps. The agenda tells the truth.
- Choose interactive over seated whenever possible. Workshops > lectures, roundtables > rooftops (okay maybe rooftops sometimes tho, rooftops are fun).
- Make sure the networking structure is real and intentional. Happy hour is not a networking strategy.
- Assess the audience mix. Are the attendees your people, your prospects, or just strangers who will politely nod at you while you try to talk near a cheese plate?
- Look for longevity. You want the kind of connections that continue after the event, not the "we met once in line for coffee" kind.
- Balance industry flagship events with niche learning.
- Big tent moments + smaller deep dives = the conference version of a healthy protein-carb-fat trio.
