    • How do you encourage attendees to participate in the event? We try and host specific tables during meals to engage in various things so people can sit with like-minded people who want to have similar discussions (either about activities at the event, themed of the event, industries, etc). Set up breakout discussion rooms. We offer ways to connect around doing fun things so people are more relaxed in their discussions. Through the mobile app we do session polling for people to participate and then discuss results in near real-time.
    • Do you use social media or other digital tools to promote the event and engage attendees?  Not really but that's just the nature of our event, since the events we all host are private and invite only for clients.

    • How do you encourage attendees to participate in the event? We have tried photo competitions using our event-specific hashtag to get folks sharing their images with us and building a broader social media network.
    • Do you use social media or other digital tools to promote the event and engage attendees?  Yes, we do promote on social media, but also find it effective for event engagement during the program itself.

    • How do you encourage attendees to participate in the event? Give them options for topics or sessions, allow for optional activities designed for a variety of personality types.  Games in the event app as well since many of our attendees are quite competitive.
    • Do you use social media or other digital tools to promote the event and engage attendees? There's typically an app these days and often we allow for integration with social media.

    • How do you encourage attendees to participate in the event? We have colleagues that "host" their clients at events so they know someone to talk to. We make sure our attendee list is socialized internally so people know who is going to be there and how the colleague can connect with attendees and network with others.
    • Do you use social media or other digital tools to promote the event and engage attendees? Due to the nature of some of our events, we usually post afterwards.

    • How do you encourage attendees to participate in the event?
      • Use the event app features, including polling, discussions, gamification, and Q&A. Also, interactive sessions that involve role-play, educational games, or other innovative learning tactics really help people get engaged.
    • Do you use social media or other digital tools to promote the event and engage attendees?
      • Social media is definitely one way you should promote your event, and encourage discussion about what to expect in terms of speakers, learning content, activities, etc.
