When this happens to us, it's usually because the setting for the event is set to private, and we're working off attendee lists. Cvent just tells us to set the site to Public, although that's not always possible. We've had issues in the past where the site is searchable via Google, etc. Why isn't there an option to select to turn that off, is my question.
