I was able to log into your account on the back end to take a look at your company's specific settings. It looks like your company has your match key set to "First Name, Last Name, Email Address" rather than just "Email Address." In this case, Cvent will match a registrant on that criteria. This means that a new contact record will be created if the first name, last name, and email address does not match that of a current contact in your Address Book.
In your example, you have two registrants:
1. Raymond MacDonnell,
raymond.macdonnell@olchc.ie2. Raymond McDonnell,
raymond.macdonnell@olchc.ieIf you look closely, the last names of these records do not match. Therefore, he was able to register two times within one event, because Cvent created a new contact record for the second registration.
If Raymond had tried to register the second time under Raymond MacDonnell,
raymond.macdonnell@olchc.ie, he would receive an error, becuase that specific combination of first name, last name, email address already exists within your event.
