Do the Passkey links only work when the program is launched?  We are still in test mode and I can see the Passkey links, but get an "unable to connect" message when I click on them.

You are correct in your thinking. The Passkey link will only work when the event is in active status. Since the event is in test mode, we can control the information and how to clear it out when we launch the event, but we do not have the Passkey instance in a test mode so it's a safe keeping to ensure you are not having test hotel data be sent through your Passkey instance.
