Will manualy closing my event trigger my wait list even if event capacity hasn't been reached?

Hi Erin,

Yes, if your waitlist is enabled it will appear for invitees if: registration is manually closed, capacity is reached, optional item capacity is reached, or the registration deadline passed.

Thank you for this response, but it turns out the waitlist was not triggered when I manually closed the event. It had to close due to capacity being reached. I was told it would trigger with a manual close, but this is not true. My problem was solved the next day on a live chat where I was informed that I did need to close the event due to capacity.
