We had a customer who was checking in on onarrival and he attempted to change the company name. It did not work unless we changed it within Cvent. Any reason why the change could not be done on the iPad?

This may need to be changed in the OnArrival setting on the OnArrival app for the permissions of the event. In the app for the event you are using OnArrival for, go to settings and you should see the specific setting for name badge/registration edits upon check-in and all of those permissions should be able to be changed. Hopefully, once you flip this to "on" it will give them the access to manipulate the company name when checking in. 

@Jordan Roller had this - it is an OnArrival setting. I would also check the Cvent e-reg settings you have. You might have company name locked (uneditable) and that could override an OnArrival setting.

In OnArrival make sure that it is an editable field upon check in. This is located in the settings.
