We are looking to revamp our department's name at the university and I wanted to reach out to the other universities who use Cvent and ask, "What do you call your department where Cvent is housed at your university"?

Hi Eva, 

I used to work at a university. We were a team within a specific college, so we were just know as the [College Name] Conference Center, but on the university level there was a group known as the [University Name] Events Services. That unit had a wide range of roles under their umbrella, from venue managers to event coordinators. We had our own Cvent license at the time, but I could easily see event registration being under their umbrella as well.

We are currently called Commons(the building where we are housed) Event Services. We feel that it may be miss leading as we are not a full-on event center but offer access to technology.
