Hi,
I have Cvent event I want to test the registration and webex connect. I am not able to get past the payment page to continue the process. I found an article on Cvent community providing some mock credit card numbers. That did not work and got a payment error response. How do I test the registration without having to enter payment information?

Cvent has a face payment you can utilize to walk through payments. Not sure if this is active in new experience; however prior to moving to the new experience the fake credit card you could use is:

Visa: 4111111111111111

Name:  Any Name

CSC: any 3 numbers

I create a discount code for testing to zero out the fees.

That dummy card will work in a test environment, however I'm not sure it will work if you made your event live to do a test. I agree with a discount code to use for testing, or charging the card and then refunding afterwards. It's not the best workaround, but it will work.

Are you testing in the test environment or on an active event?  Dummy cards should work in test.  I'd  suggest a discount code as well, I think it will give you the result you need.
