I saw it demonstrated at CventConnect a couple years ago. Very cool. And expensive.
If you use RFID for session counts, it will be close. There is a reason why grocery stories have not adopted RFID checkout. One of the drawbacks I see is you need to limit access to entrances and exits. I have the same issue with badge scanning.
What are you looking to gain? See how many people are visiting an exhibitor booth? Where are people milling around? Times for the most traffic? Avoiding certain attendees? :)
