    New user...trying to send RFP to venues for Oct 2020. Is this too far out to receive any info?

    Hi Carlie-

    You are most certainly within a great timeframe. I know there are some markets that have a shorter window that they will accept RFPs, but for the most part this is a great time to start for an Oct 2020 event.

    We source events for some of our client upwards of 3 years at a time and we are currently sourcing out to 2022, 2023, and 2024.

    I am surprised you didn't get any RFPs. Depending on what info you are asking, it might take a week or 2 for hotels to get back to you. Did you have a lot of specific requirements? That might also rule out some results. But you shouldn't be getting "none at all." This is the perfect time to be sourcing for Oct 2020!
