    Greetings! As I ponder which Cvent Certification course to take, I am curious to know if it is recommended and/or required that you become certified in the Event Management course first before moving to the Event Management Advanced course?  Is the first "basic" course a prerequisite?

    You will need to take the Event Management Certification Exam first before you can take the Event Management Advanced Certification Exam at least that is what I was told before the pandemic.

    Hi Ginger,
    I found a little quiz on Cvent's certification page that helped you decide which course was the most appropriate for you for your job and skill level. I too saw that the Event Management Certification was required prior to taking the advanced certification. However, the quiz recommended I go straight to the advanced, and I did and got the certificate with no problem.
