  • 1.  Add to Calendar Description

    Morning,

    Hope everyone is staying safe.  

    I'm having an issue with html coding displaying in my Outlook appointment from the Session Add to Calendar item.  The help desk was unable to help with this.  Has anyone else experienced this in Flex?  I have the information in the Description field in each Session's page. 

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi Donna,

    I can look into this further with you. What characters are you including in your Session Description? I have tested this by adding a description in one of my Sessions and then applying bolding and underlining, and it rendered properly in my Outlook calendar. Do you have more complex HTML components in the description where you were running into the issue?

    Hi Danielle,

    I was only using a numbered list:
    1.  Module One
    2.  Module Two
    3.  etc.
    4.  etc.

    no fancy formatting at all.  /n appeared after each item.

    I've had the help desk and my Cvent rep tell me it's an Outlook issue.
