Our flex event is currently set up to have each company register as a group - this will ensure pricing is done correctly and make everything easier. Occasionally, we have people incorrectly register, which results in 2 groups with 1 person each that should be one group with 2 people. I see that right now, planners aren't able to 'merge' or transfer a registrant from one group to another. Cvent's suggestion has been to go into the group leaders confirmation page and completely re-register the person.
Two questions - Any best practices for ensuring groups register together? I believe that Cvent's suggestion to completely re-register a registrant would result in Cvent charging for the registration for that single registrant twice. Anyone have a way around that?
