  • 1.  Save the Date Email

    Posted 07-25-2019 14:39
    Hi All

I just noticed the new feature of sending out the save the date. Does your registration site need to be live before that can be sent out or can it be sent while building the site?

We are on a time crunch for building a site and want to send out a save the date, but I def. won't have the site built when we send out the save the date.

    Thanks in Advance!

I just noticed that feature too and would also like to know if the save-the-date email could be sent out prior to the event being live.  In everything I read, nothing is mentioned on whether or not the event needs to be live.  It makes sense that the emails could be sent out because you are just informing the potential attendees that the event will be coming and to make their calendars.  Anxious to hear the answer!

They talked about this in one of the connect sessions I was at :-). It is a new feature that was designed with the purpose of allowing you to send it out prior to the event being live, so yes, you can send it before the event is live

Thanks Kelly. I didn't understand what was so different compared to sending your own save the date to your invite list.
Which of course you can't do in test.
