You linking to these files in emails or on the website webpages? I usually update the text that is associated with that specific link. For example, your link mentioned above would show
MyFile.pdf. You could event do something else if you wish. The HTML editor will usually flag the link that it is not the same, but the link will still work, but will look more to what they are expecting.

The Problem:
This happens whether I add a document or image file to the CVENT library (Example filename: MyFile.pdf). When I insert a document/image file to my web site, CVENT changes my file name to http://custom.cvent.com/0c6278ac4ec34a928c49337e60edac8a.jpg.
My Question:
Is there a way to change the filename to my original name (MyFile.pdf)? My clients would like to see the names of the original file name when they hover over the link or download it.
