My Cvent Sales Engineer actually gave me a response. I'll post it here so that other people can reference it if they have similar issues:
Meaning, the integration should not struggle when comparing the code to what is configured within Cvent. Reason being is that the previous code associated to the Product GUID rather than the Product Code. This means that for the integration purpose, we would map according to the Code instead.
Please see the documentation here, where the code and Id are differentiated: https://developers.cvent.com/documentation/soap-api/object-definitions/event-objects/registration/

Hi Renee,
Can you clarify which version of the Salesforce Integration you are using?
Best,

Subject: Managing Admission Items
Looking for best practices related to managing admission items for Cvent to Salesforce integration. We currently create new products/admission items for each event in Cvent, but would like to move into doing generic products instead. Is this possible? How do other people handle these situations? Thanks!
