I could use some advice and help.
Recently, I have been assigned to take over our Cvent and Salesforce platforms. I have limited knowledge of Salesforce and Cvent integration.
Before, we were able to link Cvent contacts to Salesforce contacts. Meaning, that when an individual registered for a Cvent event, the contact information in Cvent would be updated to the information already in Salesforce.
For example, if Jim Jones registered for an event and typed his information as "jim jones" in Cvent, Salesforce would automatically change it back to "Jim Jones". Additionally, if Jim Jones entered an email that was not in Salesforce, it would NOT let him register for the event.
I cannot find out how to replicate this process. I have Salesforce Integration turned on. Cvent cannot locate any of my Salesforce campaigns, for some reason.
