You will need to create an advanced rule that includes all times that "session 1" appears on the schedule and create a warning message for each session rule you create. This will have to be done individually for each session that repeats throughout the schedule. :-)
Session groups only really helps for that specific time slot you are working with and ensuring that there is only one selection is selected.
Let me know if you have any questions, because we do this and take it even further to limit sessions in the session group to a specific registration type! :-O

Hi Steven,
We currently have the 5 rotating sessions 5 times throughout the day in session groups. I have attached a screenshot for more clarity. I just want to confirm that if "Session 1" was offered 5 times, they could only select it once or is this not a feature?
Thank you :)

I don't see anyway of hiding a session if a similar session was chosen.
In this case I might make it a session group.

Hello!
We have sessions that repeat multiple times throughout the day. However, we would like those sessions to disappear from attendees selection if they have already said they are planning on attending that session.
Is this a possibility? If so how?
Thank you very much!
