We'll be using Attendee hub for our first Hybrid Event and are curious  - does anyone has a successful work around for the in-person attendees to participate in live chat in sessions, other than using laptops and logging in via the AH website?

Hi Judi, 

Not really a much more advanced workaround than what you're already doing, but people can log onto the Attendee Hub website from mobile devices as well (from their browser, different than downloading the app!) and join the live chat from there. 

Hopefully the Mobile App will eventually have that feature! 

Another workaround would be to use a third party like PollEverywhere that everybody regardless of format can access at the same url.

Thanks very much Beline. We figure logging in via a browser is the way to go - but was hoping someone may have a better alternative. We  "hope" attendees will turn the ringers and sound off their devices while in  the live session, so the audio is not heard in the room - but are also aware that we can't control that.

We prefer not to involve another third party.

Hard decision to make.
