  • 1.  Printing conference agenda on 4x6 name badge?

    Hi -- 

    We're planning a 3-day conference and would love to be able to have each attendee's personalized agenda appear on the back of their 4"x6" name badge. I've tried three different data tags -- My Agenda, Personal Agenda by Registrant, and My Sessions -- and played with automatic resizing vs. not, but haven't found a combination that will work. Either the print is too tiny to read or the words get cut off. 

    The My Agenda data tag would be perfect if I could choose which columns to include, but Cvent confirms that's not an option.

    Has anybody found the magic trick that will let us do this?

    I haven't seen an agenda tag work nicely yet.

    If you only have a few sessions you could use conditional text.
    I do that.

    If someone selected lunch, type Lunch 12-1.
    You can get very creative like that.

    I layer multiple conditional text tags when I know no two sessions can be chosen to save room.
    If interested I can explain it better.

    Thanks! I actually started going down that road with conditional text, but we have close to 100 sessions. That said, a lot of them are concurrent, so attendees can only choose one per group, and the total for one person could probably fit okay. Just a huge task to set them up.

    I go a bit crazy when it comes to the badge wizard.
    I don't know if the conditions make sense.
    One day I'm going to make a tutorial on how to push the limits of the badge wizard using perf'd paper. We still have a fair amount of printing at out events,

    Very cool -- thank you for this! 

    Ours would not be as cool --  text only, just a list of sessions. If we limit it to concurrent workshops it might be doable.
