Hi Erin,
We considered using a similar platform for our theme-based networking hours, but a new Webex feature came out just in time for us to use.
We use Webex for all of our sessions, so it made sense to keep attendees in the same environment.
The set up was one session with breakout rooms. The attendees had the choice of which breakout to join, and also had the option of moving from breakout to breakout. The breakout rooms were renamed around the different interests.
We also had somebody from our side assigned to each breakout so it would never be empty and so they could lead the conversation or address any issues within the breakout.
Hope that helps!
Cheers,

Subject: Anyone used Rally or similar table-based proximity chats in VAH?
Hi, We're considering using a tool called Rally for our upcoming virtual Alumni Week event. Rally is a table-based proximity chat platform that allows attendees to mingle and meet (on screen) in small groups within a virtual venue. It currently only allows up to 35 people to gather at a "table" at a time. I'd like to hear if anyone has experience using Rally within VAH, or if you've used something similar.
