Hi Andrea,
Thank you for recap on all the features of that homepage! There's sometimes a lot going on there depending on your event, so I'd like to share a couple of the things we do:
- one of our featured exhibitor is actually the virtual conference helpdesk booth we build. We upload a big red logo to make it visible, and have a ! at the beginning of the name to get it sorted at the top.
- some of our conferences use their own feedback surveys, hosted outside of Cvent. Once the built-in Cvent survey are marked inactive, the top of home page "got feedback?' card will disappear. We instead build the link to the outside survey as a custom card.
- we only add our general sessions to the featured sessions to avoid making it overwhelming. Especially with the "Coming Next" section.
Cheers,

Subject: Featured Content on Attendee Hub Website
Hello and welcome to the next edition of Tip of the Week! Let's cover some fantastic ways to make your homepage of the Attendee Website in your Attendee Hub event the most exciting space. Any page's real estate for a virtual event is important, but take a look at these options to highlight extra valuable information or even use it for sponsor and exhibitor revenue.
- Looking to showcase your important keynote or even sponsored sessions? Choose up to 3 at a time to show as your Featured Sessions on the homepage. If the session has ended, it will no longer appear in this section, so you can even consider adding more if you'd like to keep this section active all the way through the end of the event.
- To use this, simply select 'Yes' next to the field within the session itself 'Feature session on website and app.'
- To highlight important exhibitors or even use it as an incentive for your larger sponsor/exhibitor packages, consider featuring up to 8 exhibitors on your homepage through Featured Exhibitors.
- To use this, it is another simple process. Within your Flex event, navigate to Exhibitors > Exhibitor Management. Select the name of the exhibitor > Options dropdown > Edit exhibitor > Toggle 'Featured' to green under the Exhibitor Statuses section.
- Sometimes it is important to highlight external content to your attendees. That's where custom cards can come in. These are cards that can include a single link, link gallery, single video, or video gallery content. You can upload a custom image and provide a header name so your attendees know what they may want to click on and learn more about.
- This feature allows you to get creative, whether you point to additional sponsor collateral, external trainings for your product, videos from YouTube, and so much more. Cvent has used these for our own events, and pointed back to different resources such as our very own Community, Celebrity program, Certification, and more.
- For a snapshot, here is a great image of cards in action.
Questions for You:
- How have you used these features for your Attendee Hub event?
- How else would you be interested in showcasing important content?
