Q: What are the ways I can participate in the Early Adopter Program (EAP)?
There are three main ways to participate in the EAP:
-
New app for a live event using an existing license or you can buy an additional (discounted) license from your account manager
-
Build and preview an event without publishing in order to provide feedback
-
Participate in a live demo and provide your feedback
Q: How much notice is needed in order to use the new app?
60 days’ notice from the ideal app launch in order to accommodate the onboarding process and training for your staff.
Q: Besides building my event, what other responsibilities will I have in this program?
It will still be necessary to build and market your event. Additionally, we hope to capture your feedback on the product and support experience. Your assigned Mobile Solutions Specialist will capture that feedback along with our Product Management team.
Q: Will this event be published in my existing mobile event app?
An event on the new framework will be published in the latest generation of our container app called Cvent Events.
Q: What features will be available with the app?
There will be a limited feature set for the EAP. Please check your appropriate Feature Availability page as it will be updated periodically. We have separate Feature Availability pages for CrowdCompass, DoubleDutch, and QuickMobile users.
Q: Who do I call for support?
EAP clients will work with a designated Mobile Solutions Specialist, who will be the primary point of contact during the app build process. The Mobile Solutions Specialist will host a series of milestone calls to ensure the event is published on-time. A specialized support queue will also be in place for assistance with Cvent’s next-generation event app.
