Top Responders Tag in CSN Search
What's happening?
Within the CSN Search Results, suppliers who meet certain response criteria will receive a ‘Top Responder’ tag next to their venue name, indicating to planners that these suppliers are active venues on the platform who will respond thoroughly and promptly to RFPs.
Is this a region-specific release?
All venues globally received the Top Responder tag in September, except US and Canada. US and Canada will be eligible to have the Top Responder Tag on January 13th.
What are the criteria for a supplier to receive this tag?
The criteria vary by region and is as follows:
US & Canada
- Only Diamond clients are eligible.
- A Diamond client must have received 10 or more RFPs in the past 12 months.
- A Diamond client must have an average response rate of 90% and an average response time of 2 business days over the last 2 months.
Global (except US and Canada)
- All properties (Diamonds and Basics) are eligible.
- The property must have received 10 or more RFPs in the past 12 months.
- The property must have had an average response rate of 90% and an average response time of 2 business days over the last 2 months.
Is this a paid feature?
This feature cannot be purchased. It will be available to suppliers who meet the criteria listed above.
Why only Diamonds in US and Canada?
In ROW (countries outside of the US and Canada), the goal is for this tag to generate more sourcing volume because planners will have a better experience. That’s because today, planners frequently submit RFPs to venues that don’t respond to our system, which creates a bad experience for them. By pushing them toward venues we know have a high likelihood of responding, we can improve the planner experience, which will encourage repeat planners and, overall, more volume.
Many properties (both Diamonds and Basics) will respond in the US and Canada, so we do not need to solve the same problem as ROW. To drive more value for customers, we want to offer Diamonds the Top Responder tag.
Will this update be visible to all planners on the network?
Yes, this will be visible to all planners (logged-in and guests) using the network.
Will this be a filterable option for planners?
Yes, this will be filterable in the search.
Does this release impact the ranking order of the CSN Search Results?
No.
How often is the data updated?
This is a rolling window, with data refreshed daily but always using the previous two months as the timeframe. This is to help venues that start to improve their response metrics get the tag faster while still showing a pattern of that success.
Is there a report I can run to see the eligibility status of my venues and their response data?
A venue’s response rate and average response time are available in property-level reporting that is included with a Diamond Listing or Competitive Set Report. The above-property contacts can report on the response rate and average response time using RFP Visibility or Enterprise Dashboard. We will not have a new specific report for this response tag eligibility. You can also see your venue’s status by checking Search to see if the tag is on your venue’s search result card.
I want my venue to have this tag, but they do not. What can they do?
They must proactively improve their average response times and response rate to receive this tag in the search.
The time it will take for them to receive the tag will vary based on the supplier and their ability to increase their response rate to at least 90% and average response time to 2 business days.
How did you come up with these criteria?
We looked at the averages in our system and then shared that data with both planners and suppliers for feedback. These criteria met both planner and supplier standards.
