We know how frustrating it can be to get stuck in a login loop. This guide walks through the recommended ways to access Cvent Community and how to quickly fix the most common login issues.
Your main paths to Cvent Community
1. From the Cvent app >
For most users, the easiest and most reliable way into Community is directly from the Cvent app.
- Navigate to https://app.cvent.com/ and log in with your Cvent username and password.

- Select the Cvent Community icon in the global navigation bar to open Community in a new browser tab.
This applies if you use applications such as:
| Cvent application |
Community Navigation |
| Appointments |
 |
| Attendee Hub |
| eMarketing |
| Events |
| OnArrival |
| Registration |
| Surveys |
| RFPs |
 |
| Supplier Network |
 |
If you use multiple Cvent products, we recommend choosing one as your primary product and always launching Community from there. This helps ensure Community is connected to the correct Cvent account.
2. MyCvent (when enabled by you and your organization) (click to expand) >
If you and your organization have opted in to MyCvent, it is your main starting point to all Cvent products and Community.
- Navigate to https://login.cvent.com/.
- Enter your MyCvent username and password.

- From the MyCvent dashboard, select your primary Cvent product.

- In that product, select the Cvent Community icon in the global navigation bar to open Community in a new browser tab.
This applies if you use applications such as:
| Cvent application |
Community Navigation |
| Appointments |
 |
| Attendee Hub |
| eMarketing |
| Events |
| OnArrival |
| Registration |
| RFPs |
| Surveys |
| Event Diagramming |
 |
| Jifflenow |
 |
| Passkey |
 |
| Supplier Network |
 |
This path:
- Keeps your Community activity and profile tied to a single primary Cvent account.
- Works as a single starting point into Community when MyCvent is enabled for your organization, no matter which Cvent products you rely on day-to-day.
- Minimizes the risk of duplicate or “view-only” Community profiles.
If your password does not work or you are not sure what it is, do not create a new account. Use the “Forgot your login information?” link on the sign-in page to reset the password for your existing account.
If you have MyCvent, start there whenever you want to access Community.
3. For Cvent Splash-only customers (click to expand) >
For Community access:
Note: Don’t sign up for a separate Community login. Always sign in with the same Cvent username and password you already use for your other Cvent products.
4. For Cvent iCapture-only customers (click to expand) >
For Community access:
- Sign into iCapture at https://admin.icapture.com/ using the credentials provided by your Cvent team.
- Open your Cvent product and click the Cvent Community icon. Community uses your Cvent login, not your iCapture login.
5. Cvent Community Direct Login (click to expand) >
You can also log in directly to Cvent Community without having to log in to a Cvent product at all.
Select from the drop-down menu which account you want to use, Cvent account, MyCvent account, Event Diagramming account, or Passkey account. Always select one as your primary account for all future visits to receive the best community experience.

Use this path when:
- You want to use Cvent’s virtual assistant for customer support.
- You want to ask other users for advice or best practices.
You’re always welcome to use the direct login option; however, you’ll have the most consistent experience by starting with the Cvent product you use most often.
Troubleshooting and avoiding common pitfalls >
1. Confirm you are on your primary Cvent account
If you are logged in to Community and see an alert indicating that your access is restricted to view-only, you may have entered via a secondary Cvent account.
- Log out of Community and Cvent.
- Log back in using the Cvent or MyCvent account you use most often for your day-to-day work.
- Access Community again from MyCvent or your primary Cvent application.
If you still see the alert, select the “Email Community Manager” option and ask for help assigning or updating your primary account.

2. Use “Forgot your login information?” early and often
If you are stuck on the login page:
- Select “Forgot your login information?” and follow the prompts to reset your password.
Make this your first step whenever you are unsure of your password.
3. Double-check your credentials
Common login issues are often caused by small details:
- Confirm that Caps Lock is off.
- Look for extra spaces when you copy and paste your email or password.
- Make sure you are using the email address associated with your current work or Cvent account, not a personal email or a former company address.
4. Clear your cache and cookies
Older cached data can interfere with login.
- Open your browser settings.
- Clear cache and cookies for at least the last seven days.
- Close all browser windows and reopen your browser.
- Try logging in again via MyCvent or your primary Cvent application.
5. Allow third-party cookies
Cvent Community relies on certain cookies to keep you logged in and remember your preferences.
- In your browser, go to Settings > Privacy and Security > Cookies.
- Select a setting that allows third-party cookies for Cvent and Community, such as “Allow all cookies.”
- Try logging in again after updating this setting.
6. Update your browser
Out-of-date browsers can cause compatibility problems.
- Update your browser to the latest version.
- For the best experience, use a modern browser such as Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, or Safari.
7. Check your internet connection
A weak or unstable connection can interrupt the login process:
- Test another website to confirm that your connection is working.
- If pages are slow to load or time out, try switching networks or contact your IT team.
8. Temporarily disable browser extensions
Some browser extensions, such as ad blockers or script blockers, can interfere with authentication.
- Temporarily disable your browser extensions.
- Try logging in again via MyCvent or your primary Cvent application.
- If login works, re-enable extensions one at a time to identify the one causing issues, then whitelist Cvent and Community if possible.
By using MyCvent as your default entry point when it is available, sticking with one primary Cvent account, avoiding Direct Login unless you have been asked to use it, and relying on “Forgot your login information?” when you are stuck, you can avoid most login headaches and get into Cvent Community quickly so you can focus on learning, networking, and getting work done.
