In this article, we will walk you through the process of subscribing to product news and show you how to effectively manage email notifications, ensuring that you receive the most relevant information tailored to the products you and your organization care about. This comprehensive guide will equip you with the knowledge and tools to stay in the know and allow you to make informed decisions to best support your events or venues. Let's dive in and unlock the power of staying connected with product news!
Step 1: Navigating to Product News
From anywhere within Cvent Community, select Resources within the main navigation, then proceed to select either of the Product News sub-menu options depending on your interest; Event Management or Supplier & Venue.
Step 2: Managing Subscriptions
Once you are on the Product News page, select Subscribe to updates.
Step 3: Sending Directly to Your Inbox
Enter your work email address and select Subscribe to confirm.
Step 4: Verifying Your Email Address
Check your inbox for the verification email and verify your email address by selecting Click here to verify button.
Step 5: Making Your Selections
When you click on the “Click here to verify” button, you will be brought back to the Product News page, where you will next Manage your subscription.
Step 6: Choosing Your Subscription Preference
Here, you will choose how you would like to be notified.
Step 7: Selecting Product Categories
Select the categories and roadmap items for which you would like to receive notifications. These notifications will be sent out on Wednesdays if there are updates for the products that you have selected.
Note: If you select “All categories” you will receive 6 email news bundles, bi-weekly on Wednesdays – Plan & Promote, Spend & Workflow, Attendee Engagement, Actionable Insights, Exchange Solutions, and Trade Show Solutions. To receive fewer news emails, ensure you “Manage your Subscription” down to the product news you need.
Step 8: Deselecting or Unsubscribing from Categories
At any point, if you feel that you’re getting notifications for products you don’t need to stay in tune with, you can always revisit the Event Marketing & Management Product News page or the Supplier & Venue Solutions Product News page and re-select your products and preferences “Manage subscription.”
