Hi Elissa,
If you just need something simple, I would recommend creating a separate registration type and path for speakers to have them go down a very shortened registration process. This way, you can create a simplified way for them to upload links and provide any other details you may need to collect. Also, this will allow them to get registered for the conference, so you won't have to do it on the back-end.
Thank you!

We have used the speaker resource center in the past and it did not prove successful.
What we need is just a link where speakers can upload files. Super simple not something they need to log into.
Any other options?

Hi Elissa,
To collect information on speakers, I think it would be best if you use our Speaker Resource Center feature as it would let the speakers log in, edit their profiles, register for the event and complete custom tasks that the planner assigns them.
An article that met be helpful: What can I do with Speaker Resource Center?

Using the abstract submission portal to gather registration info from speakers so we can back end register them when conference registration opens.
AND -- the widgets are much more limited -- for example no way to gather birthdate which helps us clean/ID records.
Would be great to add some of these!
Thanks!
