Hi Joe-
Hi Joe-
You are right, this is a very effective and clear presentation of the question and the available answers. However, the example is a standard registration question which would need to be completed on a per event basis. It is a wonderful idea to potentially use the Custom Contact Fields; however, they do not work entirely like the standard registration questions. For example the "other" option would require a sub question to gather the specifics of this option whereas the standard registration question incorporates both a "other" and "N/A" option into the question setup.
Something that I have noticed with Custom Contact Fields (CCF) is that most registrants will not review this information and you might find that they may have changed from a previous event. This is why most require it to be completed on a per event basis.

Subject: Adding Dietary Restrictions in Registration Pages
Hi everyone -
This past Wednesday I was at the Cvent Regional Training (Chicago) and they put up a great looking Dietary Restriction question as an example on the presentation (picture attached). This question had:
- A clear question/title
- Several Options
- One dialogue box at the end for "other"
I've been having a hard time replicating this full question in the Admin side of things. I've been using the Custom Contact Form since this is something we'd be using for every event but outside of using Multiple Choice (Vertical), I can't quite seem to get the dialogue box for "Allergies" in addition to it.
Is there another admin tool I should be using? Thank you in advance!
Best,
Joe
