You can create an invoice template with data tags by going to Attendees > Badges and Certificates within your event and clicking "Create New" in the top right. On mine, I chose "Invoice" as the type and changed the stock to Letter Portrait 8.5x11. Once you fill in all the fields and save, you'll have a "designer" tab where you can use data tags to create the invoice.
Once that's done, you can use a data tag {[E-INVOICE LINK:Print Invoice]} in your confirmation email and it should customize each attendee's info into the invoice for them. You can also print the invoice for attendees (and test your invoice) by going to an attendee record in your event and choosing Actions > Print Badges and selecting the invoice you created. It will print it to PDF for you
