I support a few large events (3-4 days, 400-500 attendees, 100+ speakers, 50+ sessions) using Cvent event platform for registration, website, attendeehub, and onarrival. This also includes supporting all of the speakers and their content. My users aren't frequent users of the Speaker Resource Center.
Leading up to our larger events, I receive a lot of (repeated) questions from speakers and their handlers. Over the years I have tried sending FAQs as attachments, or sending them to a static FAQ page, but now I am considering building an agent to support these questions. This agent would answer questions like "do I need to bring my own computer" as well as more generative type questions like "what topics should I present" or "what kind of expectations do your audiences have?" and "what kind of people attend the conference?"
- Is anyone else deploying agents that are available from their Cvent event website?
- If yes, what technologies have you used to deploy? What's your 'stack' and how does it work?
- If yes, have you enabled a similar use case and how?
- If yes, can you summarize the effort and cost and time of deploying?
- Finally, in your opinion, is it worth the effort or should I just keep answering these emails (10-12 hours per event)?
Thank you in advance!
