    How can I program an alert so I am notified every time a specific admission item is purchased?

    You can create a planner alert.

    Not sure how you can send an alert for a specific admission item though.
    Is there a particular session associated with the admission? Then you can use a session alert.

    I looked at creating a Planner Alert but was only presented with the option to create an alert based on when a quantity or percentage of an admission item's capacity has been reached. I need a notification every time an admission item is purchased.

    If I set the alert to trigger when the
    quantity of the item's capacity is 1, would that accomplish what I'm looking for? In other words, would this then trigger when the admission item is purchased a 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc. time.

    That wouldn't work. Are there any sessions unqiue to only that admission item

    Hi Joshua,

    Your question got me thinking. The Planner Alert for 'Registration' does feature the Advanced Filters at the bottom of the page. I have never needed to use it, but could you do something like this (see screenshot):

    Sorry to hijack your thread, but I'm trying to create an alert when session "extra booth space" is selected.  How do I set that up?  I don't see any session alerts.

    Hi Kim,
    I, too, searched the Advanced Filters and don't see a way to trigger an alert based on a session selection (or "optional item," which might have been a work-around). A "Session Email" won't work as it goes to the attendee.

    I'm not sure how large your event is, but for now you might just have to send yourself all registrations, review them, and delete the ones who didn't select it. Maybe someone else has another idea.

    Hi Jill and Kim,

    There is no direct way available as of now to send a trigger to planners basis a specific session registration.

    However, as an alternative, you can utilize session emails just for that specific session and within the advance filters tab add the CC email address filed. For this however, you will have to add the planner's email address as the CC email address for all the contacts and this will also trigger an email to the invitees. (This alternative is to be used if you are planning to utilize session emails for all the sessions in the event.)

    If the event you are working on is an annual event or a set up requirement as mentioned keeps taking place, you can create a custom contact field for that particular session in question and update the information for the invitees who have registered for the session, this way you can create an alert for registration accepted and add an advanced filter for the custom field created.

    Can you set up a Registration Accepted planner alert and use the advanced filter to select the admission item you want to be alerted to?
