I haven't done a hybrid event for a few years now, so things might be a little different, but from what I remember about the set up, it was very difficult to set one session up as both in person and virtual. I ended up creating two sessions in Cvent for each session of my event - one in person option and one virtual option. I had my event set up with two admission items, In Person and Virtual, and each session could only be chosen by the appropriate admission item type, so that was a bit easier for my event than what you are describing.
You could get creative with Session Groups and Advanced Rules to display your in person and virtual sessions in a manner that is easy for attendees to choose from. Using tags and categories would probably also help with visibility as to which sessions are in person options and which are virtual options.

Subject: Allowing attendees to choose virtual or in person for certain sessions
Hi, I have set up a website for my event (set up as a conference) - the event has multiple sessions across 5 days. Some sessions will be delivered hybrid (in person and virtual format) whilst others will only be delivered in person. I have set up the event as a Hybrid event in cvent. How do I set up the registration so that attendees can select whether they want to attend and register for a certain session either in person or virtually? I want attendees to be able to have the choice for each sessions whether they want to attend in person or virtually (they may want to attend in person for one session and virtually for another).
Thanks
#Registration
