Definitely a great way to do it. The biggest issue I find with test mode is some of the weblinks don't work while in actual test mode, so it does benefit the tester to be in a live version. Keep testing to a small time frame to prevent a Google search from taking people to the page before it's ready.

Hi Courtney,
The only way to test the app outside of the build platform is to take it live; I have set it to hidden in order to allow my clients to test it, then made it visible and locked once we were ready to launch. That seems to work well as a "testing mode" for us. However, they do still have to be registered in order to test, or if they log in as someone else, that person has to be ready to supply the confirmation code. I usually register for the event to do testing, then unregister once it is approved and launched (or keep my profile hidden in case the client needs additional help.)

Is there a way that you can have users test the app before launching??
Without registering the guest first.
