  • 1.  Automatically generate discount code

    Is there any way to generate a discount code automatically based on a registrant's information and have it sent to them in a confirmation email?

    If not, are there any creative workarounds or processes for this? We provide the option for folks to purchase a group registration package. Then, we (manually) generate a discount code with the number of registrations they purchased and send it to them in a seperate email. This takes quite a bit of time and we are brainstorming ways to automate.

    We provide automatic discounts based on contact and custom contact fields.

    Hi Josh,

    Thank you for posting this question! We have an option for volume discounts that most planners will use in tandem with Group Registration. I'll share an article below, but volume discounts allow you to set up discounts based on how many group members someone is bringing and offer a certain percentage off based on the criteria. You can also add filters to these if you wish and tie them to specific agenda items as well. Please reference the article below for more information:

    I don't believe that quite addresses our need. Essentially, we will have agencies join our conference and purchase up to 100 registration spots. Then, we provide them with a discount code that they send to their employees. A feature which automatically generates a discount code based on registration field criteria and includes it in a confirmation email would be super helpful for us.
