    1. What innovative event technology initiatives you are involved in?  My company utilizes a lot manual procedures.  I'm creating mail merges to use in order to cut down on much of the manual labor and reduce errors for cookie-cutter types of correspondence, such as emailing flight and ground information.  I truly believe in the "touch it once" procedure as the more times data is entered, the more opportunities for error you have.
    2. What remarkable ways you are leveraging event technology to create unforgettable experiences?  In the past, I've pushed for my previous company to drop their paper and binder collateral and utilize a mobile app.  The change saved us approximately 40 hours and over $10,000 per event for a 150 person event.  Attendees loved being able to strike up a conversation via app, save specific slides, take notes, and get up-to-date information.  As a planner who was alone in event planning, I enjoyed knowing that everything on the app would be accurate and being able to make announcements through it.  We started sending notifications for lost & found items which prevented attendees from having to go through hotel security to claim their items.  Engagement increased, and for people who get a bit stir-crazy not being on their phones/iPads, it gave them a way to better focus during lectures.

    1. What innovative event technology initiatives you are involved in?
      • My company utilizes a great deal of the Cvent platform and I'm always interested to dive into the product update emails and webinars to find out what changes are taking place and what I can use to elevate our user experience. 
    2. What remarkable ways you are leveraging event technology to create unforgettable experiences?
      • The Event App is such a great tool for enhancing the attendee experience. We're setting up discussion boards to use as a social feed, personalizing schedules, using interactive floor plans, and even using session Q&A to create a trivia contest.

    1. What innovative event technology initiatives you are involved in? Acquiring and implementing the Uber for Business connector with Cvent has been a year-long challenge that is now a ground transportation game changer! Cost avoidance, cost savings and HUGE timesaver for planners. I like the ability for our brand visibility in the Uber communications.
    2. What remarkable ways you are leveraging event technology to create unforgettable experiences? Implementing the voucher program has been an especially enhanced experience for our customers and guests. Rides on demand, no need to wait for everyone to board a shuttle :)
