  • 1.  Can exhibitors run the chat discussions?

    Hi all!

    This is our first time using CVENT and we want our sponsors/exhibitors to be able to manage, ask questions and gather responses in the chat discussions feature in the attendee hub.

    Is this a possibility? If so please let me know how! 

    I've been reading articles and watching countless training videos to find the answer but it doesn't seem to be anywhere so thought I would hop on here and ask the community!

    Hi Shanti,

    Hope you are doing well!

    If you want your sponsors/exhibitors to be able to manage, ask questions, and gather responses in the chat discussions feature in the attendee hub. You will have to make them a moderator/global moderator in the event, they will have to be registered for the event with moderator/global moderator permissions. This way they will be able to manage, ask questions, and gather responses in the chat discussions feature in the attendee hub.

    Global moderators will automatically be assigned as engagement monitors for each session and will be able to delete messages from chat discussions or any exhibitor booth's chat.
