Hi there - just came across this and not sure if it will help.
Because of the limitation you noted, we create a custom page for our speakers. That allows us to use speaker categories in the sessions to be able to have one profile be assigned a Speaker or Moderator role as required.

Subject: Distinguish between moderators and speakers in speaker list?
Hi Neha!
Thanks for that. I think that is an okay workaround for smaller events and events where speakers are not acting as moderators. However, sometimes speakers also play the role of moderators at our events, so I would not want this to be the only workaround as it will become unwieldy. And again, I would not like to create 2 separate profiles for 1 person- one speaker, and one moderator profile.
I submitted this as an idea for cvent to consider incoporating a moderator list and have that appear as separate information from the speaker list, as well as separately on the session info page.
Thanks!

Hi Rachel,
Hope you are doing well!
As per the current functionality, this is the suitable way by adding the word "Moderator" to the person's name and it will be an ideal workaround for larger events.
Currently, we don't have a direct way to distinguish between labeling someone as a moderator vs a speaker in the speaker list on the app.

Subject: Distinguish between moderators and speakers in speaker list?
Hello!
Is there currently a way to distinguish between labeling someone as a moderator vs a speaker in the speaker list on the app? I would like for the moderators to be distinguished from the speakers in the list, as well as in the session descriptions.
Currently, it just displays everyone as a speaker. We have a workaround of adding the word "Moderator" to the person's name, but this is not ideal and will not really work for larger events when people are serving multiple roles as speakers and moderators.
Any thoughts, suggestions, or other workarounds we may not have thought of? (note- we do not really want to create multiple profiles for a single person either)
Thanks! :)
