We have an event that which one can add a donation. I can not find how to run a report that tells me the difference between the payment of the ticket and the additional donation. Is that possible?

Hi Tamara,

It depends on how you allow your customers to make donations with their ticket payments. Our organization uses the optional item as a way for individuals to make a donation, and we can run a report on those optional items. Whatever you use as the option to give the donation, you would need to add that field to your report to distinguish between the ticket payment and the donation. Hope that helps!

I appreciate your quick response - I realize there are optional items and our donations are set up that way. However, I can not see a field in a report that tells me how much $ we have made in optionals items.

Hi Tamara,

Hope you are well!

When you go to your event and run the 'Agenda Item Financial Details by Attendee' report, by default this report is grouped by 'Agenda Item Type' and 'Agenda Item Name'. You should see the grouping on the report. You can export the report and then customize it outside Cvent. 

Or you could run the 'Order and Transaction Details' report and add the grouping basis 'Agenda Item Type' and 'Agenda Item Name' and get the required data.
