Huddle Discussion: Turning Event Recordings into an Always On Engagement Engine

  • 1.  Huddle Discussion: Turning Event Recordings into an Always On Engagement Engine

We all invest a ton of time and budget into live events, webinars, and trainings, but once the recording is captured… then what? This huddle is inspired by last week's blog "The Ultimate Guide to Repurposing Event Videos with Events+", which outlines how to move from scattered recordings to a central, branded, always on video hub.

Now it is your turn! Share how you're currently handling event video content, what's working, and where you're stuck.

    1.    Where do your event recordings live today?

    • Multiple platforms (webinar tools, drives, YouTube, etc.), or a single hub?
    • What's hardest about finding and reusing the right video at the right time?

    2.  How do you control the viewing experience and your brand?

    • Are viewers seeing competitors' ads, unrelated "suggested" videos, or off brand pages?
    • What would your ideal branded viewing experience look like?

    3.    How quickly can you go from "event is over" to "video is live and promoted"?

    • What slows you down the most (IT tickets, access to tools, editing capacity, approvals)?
    • How fast do you want to be able to publish and promote post event content?

    4.    Long recordings vs. "snackable" content:

    • Do you chapter, trim, or clip your keynotes and sessions today?
    • What tools or processes (if any) are you using to turn 60 minute sessions into highlights?

    5.    Keeping engagement going between events:

    • Do you have a single, always on destination where audiences can binge your best content?
    • How are you connecting on demand content to upcoming event registrations right now?

    6.    Analytics and impact:

    • What video metrics do you track today (if any), and how are you using them?
    • How helpful would it be to tie video engagement directly to pipeline, registrations, or follow up?

    Show & tell
    If you're comfortable sharing:
    •    Drop a link (or description) of how you currently showcase past event content.
    •    Tell us one win and one frustration with your current approach.
    •    If you could wave a magic wand and redesign your event video strategy, what's the one capability you'd add first?

Looking forward to hearing how you're thinking about repurposing event videos-and how you'd like a solution like Events+ to support you.
