I'm newish to Cvent and working on creating registration for our event. Our Cvent Event Builder handled this portion of our event last year, but we're trying to do it ourself this year.
Our registration process is a little complicated, as our organization has several different membership levels, and these different levels will need to be tied to specific registration types and will be able to access different admission items. It seems that the easiest way to do this is to tie each member of our organization to specific contact types, that we will then use to create our different registration types. I have figured out how to upload our membership directories into our address book, and have created several different contact types, but it seems as if though I will have to go into each individual contact to assign them to a contact type; that there isn't an option to add them in "bulk." We have over 600 members, and that is an awfully tedious task if I have to do it for each individual.
Is there a better way to go about setting up our registration instead? I've set up contact groups as well, but it doesn't seem like that is going to successfully set up registration the way that we were hoping. And we would like to avoid having the different membership levels register with specific codes, or via specific email links, though if that is an easier way to do this, we're not staunchly opposed.
